This chapter is from Mecca, and the whole chapter has a total of 111 verses. Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful 1. Praise be to Allah, who is above all things, who caused his servants to travel from the forbidden temple to the distant temple overnight.I bless around the far temple so that I may show him some of my signs.Allah is indeed All-sounding and All-seeing. 2. I gave the scriptures to Moses and used them as guides for the children of Israel.I said, "Take no guardian but me!" 3 O offspring of those whom I have made to help Noah!He was a grateful servant. 4. In the scriptures, I have revealed the judgment on the descendants of Israel: "You will surely make rebellion twice on the earth, and you must be very arrogant."

5 When the appointment of the first rebellion came, I sent many of my mighty servants to punish you, and they searched the house, which was a promise to be fulfilled. VI Then I restored for you the advantage over them, I supported you with riches and offspring, I made you richer. 7 And I said, "If you do good, you do good for yourselves, and if you do evil, you do evil for yourselves." When the second covenant of rebellion came, (I sent them again) so that they may make you sad, that they may re-enter the Mosque as they did the first time, that they may destroy what they have occupied.

8 (If you repent), your Lord may have mercy on you.If you defy Me again, I will punish you again.I make Hell the prison of the disbelievers. IX This book will guide people in the most righteous way, and foretell the believers who do good deeds, they will enjoy the greatest reward. 10 (Also foretold) I have prepared painful punishments for those who do not believe in the afterlife. 11. People pray for misfortune, just like praying for happiness. People are impatient. 12 I made day and night two signs, and I blotted out the signs of night, and made day the light, that you might seek the favor from your Lord, that you might know the calendar and arithmetic.I explain everything clearly.

13. I attach every man's deeds to his neck.On the Day of Resurrection, I will take out an open book for everyone, 14 (Said:) "Read your book! Today, you are enough to be your own liquidator." 15. Whoever follows the right path benefits himself; whoever goes astray suffers harm.A guilty person does not bear the guilt of others.I don't punish (anyone) until I send an envoy. 16. When I destroy a town, I order those who live in peace to obey me;So I destroy them. 17 After Noah I destroyed generations.Your Lord is sufficient to know and discern the sins of his servants. 18. To those who desire life in this world, I will give in this world what I will to whomever I will. Then I will punish them with Hell Fire, and they will be condemned and cast off into Hell Fire.

19. Those who are believers who want to obtain the Hereafter and who have worked hard for this purpose will be rewarded for their efforts. 20 This class and that class, I will support them with the reward of your Lord, which is not hindered. 21. See how I have made some of them superior to others; indeed the posterity is higher and more superior. 22. Do not let anything be worshiped with Allah, lest you become condemned and forsaken. 23 Your Lord has decreed: Worship him alone, and honor your father and your mother. If one or both of them reaches old age in your hall, then you don't say to them, "Bah!" Don't scold them, but you should speak politely to them.

24 Serve them both with reverence and reverence, and say, "My Lord, have mercy on them both, as they brought me up when I was young. 25. Your Lord knows your heart best.If you are good, then indeed He is Forgiving to those who repent often. 26. Give to your relatives, the poor, and travelers what is due to them, and do not squander it; 27 The prodigal is indeed the friend of the devil, who has failed the Lord's grace. 28. If you must seek the favor you hope from the Lord to give them, then you should speak kind words to them. 29. Tie your hands not round your neck, nor spread them all out, lest you become a repentant reproach.

30 Thy Lord will provide for whomever he wills, and will provide for those who will.Surely your Lord knows and sees all his servants. Trinity Don't kill your own children because you are afraid of poverty, I will provide for them and you.Killing them is indeed a great sin. 32 Do not approach fornication, for fornication is indeed an indecent thing, and it is a bad practice! 33 Do not kill in violation of the commandment of Allah, except for justice. We have given power to the relatives of those who are innocent and killed, but they must not kill indiscriminately, they are indeed aided.

34. Do not approach the property of an orphan except in the best manner, until he comes of age.You should keep your promises; promises are indeed a matter of trial. 35. When you sell grain, you should measure it in full, and you should use fair scales to weigh the goods. This is a good deed and has the best outcome. Thirty-six Do not follow words and deeds that you do not know, for the eyes, ears and heart will be interrogated. 37. Don't walk on the earth with pride and complacency. You must never penetrate the earth, and you must never be taller than the mountains. 38 The evil of these things is abhorrent to your Lord.

39. This is the wisdom revealed to you by your Lord, do not make any gods worship with Allah, otherwise you will be cast into Hell with reproach and rejection. 40 Has your Lord given you sons, and made the gods his daughters? You do say nonsense. 41. I have indeed repeated this purpose in this book, that they may remember it.Such representations only make them more disgusted. 42 Say, "If there were many gods with him, as they say, then surely those gods would try to compete with the Lord of the throne. 43 Praise be to Allah, who is above all things, who is beyond what they say! 44. The seven heavens and the earth, and all beings, praise him above all things, and there is nothing that does not praise him above all things. But you do not understand their praises. He is indeed Forgiving and Forgiving.

45 As you recite, I place a subtle barrier between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter. 46. I have put many veils over their hearts, lest they understand; I have made a deafening noise in their ears, and when you mention only your Lord in it, they go away in disgust. 47 I know best why they want to listen to your chanting, when they came to listen to your chanting and talk in secret. Then the unrighteous said, "You are only obeying a man under a spell." 48 You see they make many parables for you, but none of what they say is right, they can't get a way out. 49 They said, "After we have become dry bones and dust, must we be resurrected as new men?"

50 You say, "Though you become stone, or iron, May Day or whatever you think is more difficult to accept life. "They will say, "Who will raise us up?" You will say, "The One who created you first." They will shake their heads at you, and they will say, "When will this matter come?" Maybe it's getting close." 52. At that time he will call you, and you will answer him with hymns. You will guess that you lingered only a moment in the grave. 53 Thou shalt tell my servants: Let them speak the most beautiful words—the devil must divide them, the devil is indeed the enemy of man— 54 "Your Lord knows you best, and has mercy on you when he will have mercy on you; punish you if he will." I did not send you to be their guardian. 55 Thy Lord knows all things.Indeed We have made some Prophets superior to others; We have rewarded five virtues with scriptures. 56 Say, "You who are called gods other than Allah, pray to them! They cannot take away your misfortune, nor can they place blame on you. 57. Those they call gods seek to be nearer to the Lord. Those who are closer to the Lord than they are also seek to be closer to the Lord. They hope for the Lord's favor and fear the Lord's punishment.Your Lord's punishment is something to beware of. 58. All cities and towns before the Day of Resurrection I will either destroy or severely punish, as it is written in the Bible. 59 I don't show signs, just because the predecessors didn't recognize it.I have used a female camel as a proof to the Thaymods, but they persecuted (or mistreated) her.I drop signs only to intimidate. 60 At that time I said to you, "Your Lord is known to all. The dream that I have revealed to you, and the tree that is cursed in it, these are the only things I tested and frightened the people, but My intimidation only made them more brutal." June 1 At that time I said to the gods, "You should kowtow to Adam." They kowtowed to him, except for Iblus. He said, "You are made of clay, how can I kowtow to him!" 62. He said, "Tell me, is this the man whom you have made him superior to me? If you prolong me until the Day of Resurrection, I swear I will eradicate his descendants, except a few." 63 Allah said: "Go! For whoever of them obeys You, Hell will be a full reward for them and for you. June 4 You may frighten with your voice as many of them as you can; You may command your cavalry and foot against them; You may share with them their property and their children; You may promise them any things—the devil only allows them to think— 65 My servants, you have no power over them, your Lord is sufficient as a guardian. " 66 Your Lord sent ships on the seas for you, that you might seek his favor. He is most merciful to you. 67 When you are in trouble at sea, you who listen to prayers have shunned you, and you have only to pray to the Lord. You rebelled against the Lord when He landed you safely.People are lonely. 68 Are you not afraid that the Lord will sink you into the ground, or sweep you away with a wind that blows away sand and rocks, and you find no guardian for yourselves? 69. Aren't you afraid that the Lord will send you to sail again, and that the wind will assail you, that you will drown in loneliness, and that you will not find for yourselves any avenger against the Lord? 70 We have indeed given favor to the descendants of Adam, and given them rides on land and sea, and I have provided them with good food, and I have made them greatly superior to many of My creatures. July 1 (you remember,) On that day I will call upon every people and its example. Those who receive their merits and demerits with their right hand will read their own; they will not suffer a single loss. 72. Those who are blind in this world will remain blind in the Hereafter and will be more astray. 73 Indeed they have made you almost contrary to the teachings I have revealed, that you may invent others in my name. Then they will consider you as a friend. 74 If I hadn't made you firm, you'd almost have leaned toward them. 75 If so, I will make you try double punishment in life and double punishment after death, so that you cannot find anyone to help you against Me. 76 They have indeed made it almost impossible for you to live in your native land, in order to drive you out of the country. In that case, they will have to linger for a while after you are expelled. 77 This is the common way of the messengers I sent before you, and you will find no change in my common way. 78 You should observe the prayer from morning till night; and you should observe the morning prayer, which is indeed attended. 79. At some time in the night, you should observe the additional prayers that you are obliged to observe, and the Lord may raise you to a place worthy of praise. 80 You say, "My lord, please let me in, please let me out, and grant me authority from you to be my minister." 81 You say: "Truth has come, falsehood has been destroyed; falsehood is perishable indeed." 82. We have sent down that which can heal and give favor to the believers, but it will only make the disbelievers more miserable. 83. When I do favor to others, he turns his head away; when he encounters misfortune, he becomes desperate. 84. Say, "Everyone works in his own way, and your Lord knows best who is nearer to the right way." Eighty-five They ask what is your spirit? You say, "Spirit is the secret of my Lord." You have acquired very little knowledge. 86. If I will, I swear I will destroy what I have revealed to you, and then you will find no guardian in me. 87. But I keep it for the favor that comes from your Lord, and the favor that your Lord has given you is great. 88 You say: "If Men and Elves unite to create a book like this, then even if they help each other, they will not be able to create a book like this." 89. In this book, I have indeed stated various parables for the people, but most of them do not believe it. 90 They said, "We will not believe in you until you bring us a spring out of the ground, 91 Or you have a garden with dates and vines, and you make the river run through it; 92 Either you make the angels fall on our heads piece by piece, as you say; or you call Allah and the angels to come (to meet us); 93 Either you have a house of gold; or you ascend to heaven, and we will never believe that you have ascended until you reveal the scriptures that we can read. ’ You say: ‘Praise be to my Lord who is above all things! I am only a mortal man who has a mission.’ 94. When the right way comes to people, the only thing that hinders them is their words: "Has God sent a mortal man as a messenger?" 95 Say, "If there were many gods walking safely on the earth, then I will send one god down from heaven to be their messenger." 96. Say, "Allah is a sufficient witness between me and you, and He knows and sees His servants." 97 Whoever Allah guides is on the right path; for whom Allah leads astray, you cannot find a protector other than Allah. On the Day of Resurrection, I will assemble them blind, dumb and deaf, crawling, and their destination is Hell.I increase their flames every time the fire dies down. 98 This is their reward, for they did not believe my signs, and said, "Surely we shall be resurrected as new men after we have become dry bones and dust?" Ninety-nine Don't they know?Allah, who created the heavens and the earth and all things, could create men like them and fix a time for them beyond doubt, and the unrighteous will not believe it. 100 Say, "If the treasury of my Lord's bounty had been in your charge, you would have withheld his bounty for fear of spending it. Men are stingy." 101 When Moses came to the Israelites, We did give Moses nine clear signs.Ask the Israelites, and Pharaoh said to him, "Musa! I do suspect that you are bewitched." 102 And he said, "You know for certain that only the Lord of heaven and earth can send these as proofs. O Pharaoh! I do suppose that you are to be destroyed." 103 He would drive them out of the country, but I drowned him and his army. 104 After his destruction, I said to the Israelites, "Dwell in this place! When the covenant of the Hereafter comes, I will gather you here in disorder." 105 I only reveal the truth, and I descend only with the truth.I send you only as herald and warner. 106 This is a book which I have made clear, that you may read it to all at ease; I have revealed it gradually. 107 You said, "You may believe in it or you may not believe in it." People who had acquired knowledge before it was revealed fell down and kowtowed when they heard people recite it. 108 They said, "Praise be to our Lord above all! The promise of our Lord must be fulfilled." 109 They bowed down weeping, to make them more reverent. ※ 110 (You said:) "You may call him Allah, or you may call him the Most Merciful. For he has many very beautiful names, and whatever name you call him is good (all good) During the prayer, you should neither recite loudly nor recite silently in a low voice. You should seek a moderate path. 111 Say, "All praise be to Allah! He has no adopted sons, no sharers with him, no assistants for his lowliness. Praise him for his greatness."
